This Bangle Bracelet has an 8.5" Stainless Steel core with a wood ring made out of Black Ash that has been stabilized. The wood ring is cut into a circular form and the center is drilled out. It is then turned down to the correct inside dimension for the size bracelet. Once this has been completed on both sides the width is turned down to fit into the SS ring. The SS ring and wood ring are then glued together. Once dry the wood is turned to the final size and curve. I then sand starting with 150 grit and progressing to 800 grit. I then switch to Abralon finishing pads from 500 to 4000. A final finish of Aussie oil is applied and then buffed to a brilliant shine using a blue polishing rouge wheel and then white cotton wheel to bring out the shine. A final coat of Renaissance Wax is applied to protect and add to the shine.
